Vacuum bags often show vacuum loss during the packaging process. This is a problem we are very worried about. Today, Novostar vacuum bag manufacturers talk about the main reasons for this phenomenon. There are four main reasons:
1. The material barrier of the vacuum bag. For example: the packaging of OPP/PE structure, the vacuum degree will be significantly reduced in 2 weeks after evacuation, so the material of the vacuum bag must have a certain gas barrier.
2. The airtightness of the vacuum bag. If there are tiny incompletely sealed cracks on the sealing edge, air will enter the vacuum bag through these cracks and cause a degree of vacuum loss. For example, when the pillow-shaped vacuum bag is horizontally sealed at the interface between the second and fourth layers of materials or when the inner layer material is contaminated by the contents (such as grease, powder, etc.) or the folds on the edge of the seal, it will cause poor sealing.
3. Mechanical damage of the vacuum bag. a. The vacuum bag is pierced by the contents, such as bones in the vacuum bag, fried peanuts and other objects with sharp corners; b. Foreign objects are damaged, such as being pierced by the corners of the adjacent packaging bags, the crystal points on the material are destroyed The material of the barrier layer is damaged, and the burr on the edge of the sealing die damages the packaging material; c. The material has poor flex resistance, and the barrier property is greatly reduced in the circulation in the vacuum bag.
4. Another possibility is due to the gas produced by fermentation (anaerobic respiration) of the contents of the vacuum bag, causing the vacuum to decrease. Of course, this can be confirmed by refilling the vacuum bag with other items.
